R1234yf Refrigerant is a zero ozone depletion and very low global warming potential (GWP) refrigerant, developed to comply with the European F-Gas Directive, for the phase-out of refrigerants with a high global warming potential in the Mobile Air Conditioning sector (MAC). With a global warming potential of 1, the R1234yf easily complies with the EU MAC Directive. The R1234yf Refrigerants have similar performance performance compared to HFC-134a and has the virtue of replacing HFC-134a in all applications where slight flammability is accepted.
